O2 Hotel

Building work has begun on a new 19 storey, 452-bedroom, five-star hotel – The InterContinental London The O2 – in Greenwich as part of a £121m development scheme.

Due to the project requirements of high sustainable standards and innovative building techniques, Dukkaboard was the perfect choice of tile backer board as a substrate for all finished stone and tiled surfaces. Waterproofing solutions from the comprehensive range were also tested and selected for use in the Health Spa and Swimming Pool.

Dukkaboard was brought on board from the outset of the development offering support and industry advice from The Knowledge Network to the Architects, Contractors and Clients involved.
